Default A big thanks to Stratmosphere for the great Milltek Exhaust

Thanks guys for an easy and smooth transaction. All parts arrived from NY to CA in great condition, and I appreciate the fast shipping. The Milltek non-res cat back installed easily and without a problem. And the sound is exactly what I was looking for. I am 100% satisfied with the whole deal.
Well, the sound is superb - just what I wanted. At idle just a little deeper note - you can barely tell the difference. If you take off from a stop with 1/3 throttle, barely discernable difference. If you take off from a stop with greater than 1/2 throttle, you get a meaner sounding snarl - not too loud - just right. Then at speed if you step into it, you get a glorious growl from about 4,000 all the way to 7,000 rpm. No droning at all at various highway speeds, tried it at 60, 70 and 80 - barely a difference in sound until you step on it. These are my impressions from inside the cabin.

Default You want a "better' sound? Get their dp's. You'll be glad you did.

Your're evaluation agrees with my Milltek cb experience. I had them on for 2 years and this past month installed the Milltek downpipes to complete the system.
What a huge difference in the sound as it is much deeper and the aural (not oral!) pleasure is gratifying. You'll also feel more grunt in midrange, maybe more torque than before, but it's there.

You'll be saying "forget the stereo - listen to that exhaust!"

Default Thanks for the advice guys

The sound is addicting, and yes, dp's may be the next mod I make.
I only hesitate because of the CEL issues I've read about.

Default plenty of cars out there that haven't had issues

you'll generally see a lot more discussion on the forums about a few cars with an issue than you will about teh many with none

Default lol...I have a CEL since the dp install. Having it resolved tomorrow (I hope).

I had the same concern as you've mentioned. I did the dp's, have a CEL, called Strat, they gave me guidance and direction, I'll follow through and resolve the issue. Maybe. :P

Good luck in reolving. If you do, I'd certainly like to hear about what was done.
