Default Blizzak LM25 impressions?

Thinking of getting for my avant. Wondered if they do well on dry pavement and if they are noisy. Will only use 3 months a year to drive to Colorado etc but most of time I'm in Dallas. I considered the pirellis (M+S)but on back order and I thought that they would be too much like my summer tires. Thought it would be better to get high performance snows as the second set but don't want a rough ride while on dry roads. Thanks for any advice.

Default Pirelli Snow Sport 240s are great ...

LM-25s are sold out on Tirerack. I went with the Pirelli Snows and they are great and also cheaper.

Default I'm running ContiExtreme Contacts in Colorado Springs.

Three storms. The last storm resulted in three days of hardpack snow/ice (kind of long for this area) and no issues.

Default AWESOME!!

I forged 12 inches of snow today...no issues. I could feel my car's belly dragging but the car moved solidly.

LM 25's are both very quiet and handle well for snow tires on dry pavement. They also have worked well in the snow, considering their 235 width. The LM25's are expensive, but the other tire I considered, the Dunlop M3, was not available last month.

Default LM 25's

I have had them since the first snow fall up here in the Great White North and they have been flawless. No issues on dry as far as noise goes. They are expensive but they are worth it and the new compound is supposed to wear better than previous Blizzak's.

Default I have heard nothing but great things about LM-25s, but

Tirerack was out and I was forced to go with Pirelli's. I am happy that it worked out this way as the Pirelli's have been great and cost about ~$40 less per tire (I believe).
