Buying B6 Cabrio, just looking for some info.
So the wife and I came to a a meeting of the minds. I could have the power and she can take her top down(hehehe). Before driving in, is there anything troubling I should know about other than the want to mod it? Thanks.

Thoughts after owning one for a few weeks
I went from an allroad to the S4 Cab. I loved the allroad but just didn't need that much space. I thought I'd be hauling kids and the dog more often but with kid seats it was always easier to just take my wife's car (Toyote Land Cruiser). Well...I love the Cab. IMO its the most versitile convertible on the market. Power (6 sp) and handling / ride is awesome and you can't beat quattro. The top is high quality and when up the cabin is very quiet. Top down and windows up air flow and turbulence is minimal..its easy to carry on a conversation with your passenger. Rear seat room is better than that offered by BMW. Trunk space is pretty good and more room is available when the top is up via a fold away box in which the top would be stored when down. It even has a pass through from the trunk to cabin for skis, etc. The only complaints I have are it is a bit heavy. I didn't think about weight before making my purchase. I normally wouldn't care if not for all these guys on the board calling it a pig, etc. ;-) Honestly, I don't notice it. I don't and won't track the car and I was beating 99% of the commute home competition in my modified allroad already. Now I'll beat 99.8%...big deal. The only other complaint beyond the normal cup holder complaint is the top down function. I wish I could press the button once and let the top drop automatically while I'm putting on my seat belt, etc. Unfortunately the way it is now, I have to hold the button down until the top is completely down. I'm sure this is for saftety reasons that I don't understand. Man, I guess life is pretty good when you complain about how the top of your converitble goes down.
You won't be disappointed, its the best package on the market. I considered a used 911 Cab, Boxster S and M3 convertible (all required me to keep the allroad). Then I drove the S4 Cab and I was done. Good luck.
