Default C8 Spyder by Spyker - A new home for our engine

Saw this car at the Rolls Royce dealership in Newport Beach...unreal. I went on their site, and low and behold, it has our Audi 4.2l v8.

Default Look at it....

they only uses the block for the most part. Changed the heads and did some other major work.

This is what happens when you pair the DB7 with the Batmobile.

Default Re: Look at it....

Looking at it i see a differant intake and differant oil pan. The oil pan could be some power because it appears to be a quasi-dry sump system that the crank doesn't rotate through a pool of oil. How can you tell that the heads are differant? Just curious.

Default You can tell just from looking at it...

the entire top of the engine is different. They also redesigned the headers to do away with the annoying bolt.

Default I drove the C8T model with the 525 Horse twin turbo motor

and that thing is incredible! It was brand new so I dont know about long term quality, but the interior is so cool, it's like a 1930's bomber aircraft, and has probably the coolest shifter of any car i've ever driven. it's incredibly fast, and it just made me wish that the same twin turbo kit were available for my audi. i wish the exhaust were a little bit louder, but plenty of turbo whistle to go around.
