I know the car is a B6, but since it's a 2006 I thought that I'd ask you too.

Default that car should be in the $40k's somewhere...

I'd say around $46-47k should buy it. I got $9k off of my '04 in October of '04 so I can only imagine what a dealer would let a 2 yr old car go for. That thing is just sitting there costing them money every month at this point. Not to mention, convertible season is over so they probably don't want to get stuck with it until the spring.

I'd offer $44-45k and go from there but I wouldn't go over $47-48k.

Default I remember there were 2 S4 cabs on Autotrader that were CPO'd earlier this summer

One was at Thoroughbred in Nashville, less than 2K miles and was a 2005 blk/blk with 6MT. They wanted about 12K under sticker. The other one was imola/blk, don't remember the tranny, also an 05, for about 10K under sticker.

I think your estimate of 10-12K under sticker is fair, but if they can throw the CPO in and/or AudiCare, then I would consider that a great deal.

Best of luck, whatever you decide. BTW, are you in Missouri? Those seem to be MO plates on the GTI.

Default Lived there 10 years ago, and recognized the plate.

Bought my first AWD car from Parktown Audi -- it was a BMW 325ix, used. Could not afford the A4 then. The son of an office mate worked there, and sold me the BMW. In the process, he let me poke around the A4 and A6, and let me drive a D2 A8. Have to thank him for turning me on to the brand.

Great S6, BTW. That is still one of my favorite S-cars!

Default I've been buying from Parktown since my 1st Audi in 2000. They are the best!

They're the dealer with the S4 cab. It will possibly replace the GTI. I might still keep it too, since my son will be driving in a bout 18 months.
Thanx for the comment on the S6.
