Some interesting speculation from one of the world's greatest car mags. They anticipate 350 bhp and near or just over 400 lb/ft of torque. I pray for lighter weight so this car will smoke a 335i.

I love Car. Incidentally, I will never trust C&D again after they rated an M3 ahead of Godzilla and a 911 turbo. They must be on drugs.

and in NO WAY POSSIBLE does that heavy *** M3 even come close to the performance and design of the 911TT. They aren't even in the same league, and shouldn't even be compared in the first place?! Seems like BMW is paying people under the table. C&D totally lost all credibility they ever had.

M3 drives like a dream. I couldn't stand the lag in the 997 TT and I wasn't overwhelmed by the handling (granted, it was a vert). The e92 M3 feels better to me. The M3 also sounds much better.

There's quite a bit of engineering in the M3. I don't read C&D, but I'm glad that they didn't let the MSRP discrepancy between the two cars cloud their judgment.

GT3, however, is a whole different story.

That's just my opinion, with SUV sales in free-fall wagons will make a comeback and AoA will see the error of their ways and import more Avants.

Tried to get my son's new wheelchair in my A4 sedan loaner this morning, stupid *&$^#!@ thing wouldn't fit! Gimme back my Avant!

See how great the benefit is of abandoning the V8..... I've never seen a supercharged engine that's good on gas.
