Yes...that is stock.
Audi has done their homework on the sound of recent exhausts. Witness the RS6, the 3.2TT, and the new S4. In fact, with a bit of electronic tinkering, the exhaust could potentially sound even better! What I mean is, there is a 'noise control' flap in the rear muffler that closes after 1800rpm. This quiets it down as there is a longer exit path. It is solenoid controlled. By simply forcing the valve to stay open, it could sound quite nice throughout the entire range....
