Default different wheel sizes on AWD?

I bent a summer rim and the overall difference in size is roughly a 1/4 inch from the stock rim...how much of a problem would that be on the AWD system. you think it would be a problem for a few days while the rim is repaired?
havent driven the car for about a month, and im kinda jonesin'

As long as the rolling diameter of the 4 wheels are very close, you should not have a problem

Default You're probably okay for a couple of days, but according to

page 233 of the B6 owner's manual: "To ensure that the ASR works properly, all four wheels must be fitted with identical tires. Any difference in rolling radius of the tires can cause the system to reduce engine power when this is not desired."

This is among other concerns about stress to the AWD drivetrain.

Default It won't be a problem, quattro can handle a decent amount of diameter difference

It's not ideal but your car isn't going to blow up tomorrow either.
