Does the AC compressor cut out at full throttle?
#2
are you asking because the A/C cuts out ...
what i mean is the fan seems to turn off and on by itself. i have the same problem and it doesnt seem to have anything to do with full throttle. It just turns off and turns on by itself. Weird

Actually....
according to the manual, the compressor is supposed to cut out under two conditions:
1. Using full throttle from a standstill
2. If the coolant temp gets too high
I've never noticed the compressor shutting down on launches, so either I'm not paying attention, or it must be a pretty brief shutdown.

I was asking from a performance standpoint...as in do I always have to manually kill the AC....
when I want full power, or does it cut of automatically at WOT.

on any vehicle it cuts off at WOT....
Manufactures have programed the ecu to do so. They figure if you are at WOT then it will kill engine performance if A/C is on. So to answer your question it is normal.

No, it probably doesn't!
Considering in Europe, the car would spend much time at WOT on the Autobahn...this would lead to an uncomfortable ride. Most german cars don't cut the compressor unless they absolutely have to (overheating).
