The EPA mpg rating on 6 speed cars has dropped to 14 city/20 hwy.
I noticed this on audiusa.com. I double checked the window sticker that came on my 6 spd S4 and it indicates 15 city/21 hwy. These new numbers apply to both sedan and avant. Does this mean that the gas guzzler tax on cars just arriving now will be even higher? I also noticed that the EPA rating for the tip has dropped to 16 city/23 hwy. If that doesn't put it into gg tax territory, it's pretty close.
Curiously, the cab, which is heavier than both the sedan and avant, carries the old EPA numbers of 15/21 (6 spd) and 18/23 (tip).
I wonder what brought about the change. IIRC, everyone seems to report better than EPA mpg in their cars that are past the break-in stage.

s4-2004 just found out i have a dolphin grey. =) hehe. I might tag along one of these days. Would be interesting to meet up with everybody. I am still not able to max the car out yet heehehe went 115mph on m39 today. It seems the highway is very empty. Maybe it's cause of the holidays?

I was on the Sthfld today and yesterday...not much traffic.
I got pulled over yesterday because I took a turn fast off of Telegraph. Cop said I was driving recklessly. No ticket.

do you have a gtimer gt2?
I'll try to do some experiments with the s4. It would be very interesting comparing our two cars. I am gonna pick up the gt2 this weekend at my pals place.

you mean they watch out for that kinda stuff??? damn it. I wanna put it in S and floor it off the light HEHEHE. Ugh. I gotta start being more careful. I hate these hidden cops, especially in bloomfield and troy. =(

excellent idea...
I have a valentine 1. It has saved me plenty of times with my old car. Haven't used it much since I really concentrate on going the speedlimit in this car. The fun I have is the kick back when I accelerate and leaving most cars behind rather than blindly moving fast. Have you gotten people trying to race you and such?? There is a CTS-V in bloomfield that tries to race people.
