Default Eurogear Carbon Fiber Hoods

Has anyone had any experience with or personally seen any of this companies work? Looking to lighten up the front end a bit and this should be a decent amount. Check out their hood here. www.eurogearusa.com/
www.dtmautohaus.com also has a hood for us but it cost quite a bit more. Has anyone done this mod yet? Seems like a great mod.

Default I've always wondered if they were safe

I know that most race cars, the CF splinters. I'd be afraid of a big sheet (or even a small piece) of CF flying through the windshield and cutting my head off.

I doubt any of these companies have performed any sort of crash test and I'd hate to be the one to find out. Although they can look cool, I'd stop eating junk food and lose the 30 pounds another way.

I'd be a quivering 130lbs! haha. Maybe my girl could lose a few though... I do like my head too. Has anyone ever heard of this actually happening though?
