Default Foglight switch

Ok, I've read through the manual twice to make sure. It says the foglights should come on with either the parking lights or headlights, and mine only comes on with the headlights...

Am I retarded or are the cars just like this and the manual lies?

Default Only way to get fogs on with parking lights is with the VAG

YOuc an change your ligting settings to CANADA Spec but this will make your fogs act as Day Tiem Runnign LIghts so you can never turn them off if the car is on. I have mine set up like this.

Default your reading the manual wrong.... In order to have fogs with parking lights you need to modify...

the country code to Canada.

Default I don't understand the want to do this?

I call them cool-guy lights, and usually only seem people driving Camaros, Grand Am's, & Grand Prix's doing this.

?????

By law, all states require fogs to be tied in to h/l .

Default Then why did all E36/E46 BMWs allow differently?

I miss being able to do this, and I have HID fogs that I would like to show people without starting up the headlights as well.
