Default You know it! I'll have video...

and I'm going to try and see what kind of launch works best. None of that g-timer ****, but the real stuff. :-D I am really interesting in seeing what this wagon can do with just the exhaust upgrade. Can't wait to see some of these guys faces. :-D

Ok, how about some pre-track thinking...should I shift early as I get into the later gears?

Default I would think not...

You're making peak HP close to redline, so wouldn't it make sense to wind it out in every gear?

Default Where are the tracks around here?

I'm in the Triangle too and wondering where you go. I don't have my S4 yet but would be curious to see what goes on. Can someone just show up at one of these tracks to look around? Where are they?

Default Would you only hit 3rd or 4th gear on the 1/4 track?

Not comparing, but my 5-speed Integra with 15" stock rims used to hit the end of the 1/4 in third. If I used 14" tires with slicks, it hit 4th gear.

But that's with topping out at all gears... So if you shift early, I guess you will hit higher gears in the S4... hmmm, try it a few different ways (shifting earlier in each gear in combination with shifting later in each gear, depending on what gear) maybe??

Either way, let us know how it goes!!! Good luck!!

Default Your right. Guess I'm thinking about lining up my torque right.

See, in the B5, that's all I had was torque and I had to shift early if I wanted to maintain some acceleration in higher gears.

Default I think I'll have to shift into 4th if I go past 90.

Doesn't 3rd top out around 90-95? I had to shift into 4th in the b5 as well.
