Got a new car, AudiCare & Warranty?

Wrong on several accounts...
55k is similar to the 35k service adding spark plug change... 65k is just an oil change (same as 5k service) when you look at AoA's service intervals for 2006 S4..
You don't have to service your car at an authorized dealer in order to keep your 'warranties intact'
The only time a dealer can deny warranty coverage is if you serviced your car at a backyard mechanic who used incorrect, or non-genuine Audi parts or installed it improperly causing a problem...
Denying warranty coverage b/c you took your car to an independent Audi mechanic for service is against the law... (see Magnuson-Moss warranty act)
As chairman of PR in your local Audi Chapter, I hope you're not spreading other types of misinformation and doing a disservice to your fellow members.. !!!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act</a

Re: Wrong on several accounts...
Thanks for the info - with all your knowledge and bullet points you should consider working with your local Audi Club Chapter yourself, you'd be a good asset!
Seems like a straight forward no BS reply is much better than my reference to check your owners manual and work with a Audi dealer to avoid the hassle of referring to the Mag-Moss Act if a problem does arise - I personally just like to avoid potential pitfalls during any warranty period.

This might negate your Audi warranty though
Chips and performance enhancing software puts additional stress on mechanical components than a manufacturer has originally intended.
Audi determined that their cars should have a certain tolerance, or compromise in terms of performance, reliability, longevity of parts etc.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b7/msgs/71001.phtml</a
