Default Had fun with the S4 at Sears Point and BWW CCA track event

Sat was perfect weather and dry. ran with lots of M3 and Mcoupes and didnt have to pint mvery many past. I got many more point bys.did most the passing . didnt get passed much at all running in A and B groups (A is most advanced) . ran a few laps with a new M5. I could stick with him inthe hairpins and tight corneres but he would streak off on the straights. sun rained a lot and we did a few parade laps before the track was shut down at noon.

Nice! I just saw a video and some pics of 2 of my buddy's that were there as well. One was in a 97 S/C'd purple E36 M3 and the other was in a silver-grey E46 M3 (C/O's, HRE's, C/F front lip, exhaust).

....an instructor that came up to me after a sesson .... we had a great run but he just couldnt keep up - passed him and pulled away. Also I think I met you friend in the purple Dinan car.

Default This is very good to know. Somehow I'll bet...

it didn't make you a big fan of the STi.

Default I do respect the STi..... but it apears to me to be

pretty cheaply built and the rear seat safety is suspect to me.

Default I meant in the context that so many Sti owners claim they...

can take out S4's left and right. It is cheaply built, it's an Impreza. It doesn't even compare to the Legacy/Outback models in quality or design. Don't get me wrong, a pretty neat car, but really just a high performance version of a subcompact... now at $34k+.
