Headlamps flashed after car was turned off and locked. Ghost in my machine?
Tried to find the old threads about this, but couldn't find one where the issue was resolved.
I had gone to a friend's house and parked directly facing the front door. There are small windows flanking the front door that the car was reflected in. I saw the fogs go off while waiting for the front door to open (my Coming Home feature is on and set for the default 90 seconds).
Had a single flash of the xenons about 10 or 15 seconds after the fogs went off. Has never happened again. Is the circuit shedding excess charge or something? Anyone have any idea if this is good or bad? Should I worry? It's likely that the dealer will be "unable to replicate" if I complain.

My right headlight does this...
I've never seen the left do it. I've seen it flash on while I'm washing it, probably about 10 times over 2.5 years.
I don't know if it's related, but my car is in the shop right now because the headlights are flickering & turning off, see my post earlier today.

I would say "normal"...
Mine have done this occasionally over the years and don't know that it is related to anything other than maybe the lights themselves. I wouldn't worry about it.
Your lights will likely fail for some other reason first. ;-)
Eric.

Mine has done this precisely once in the 18 months I have had it, and it was recently.
It really freaked me out at the time but seeing your thread reminded me that I never looked into it further. Mine happened basically exactly as you describe. Very strange.

Ditto. Twice in two years. No idea what it is.
Second time was the other night and I didn't even turn the car on. I went to get one of the SD cards out of the car's nav/stereo system.
Also had the right rear window go down on its own while I was reversing the other day. Never happened before.
