Default Holy depreciation Batman! Dealer offered me $33.5 K for my B6. I was thinking of getting into an '05

because of the phenomenal lease deals, but its no longer even a thought in my mind.

So what happens when 2006 comes around? Will this thing be worth $25K or less?

My Infiniti M45 POS depreciated less than this car! WTF?

Default LOL. They offered me $26,000 on my 2001 A6 with less than 13k miles and...

1 yr left on maintenance/warranty. I finally got
27,500 out of them and my coilovers, sways, and
brakes returned to me and the oem put back on at
their expense. But, yeah...this is the last
brand new Audi I will buy. Next time I'll let
some one else take the depreciation hit.
BTW lat time I checked, they were asking just
under 36,000 for my car used. Man!

Default $27,500 is actually very good trade value for that car.........

you can buy CPO 2001's all day long for $30k or less with factory warranty remaining.

Default Book trade was 28k . 32K for a private sell. I've always wondered if...

depreciation is so high because Audi themselves
wont pay much to have them back. That can effect
market value as well as other things.

Default Based on those numbers.........

they aren't out of line asking $36k for it if they certified it. All of those numbers sound high as hell though.

Not paying much for trades isn't just an Audi problem. My neighbor was going to trade his M3 and go with the S4 lease but wasn't happy with the trade value. He took it to the BMW dealer he bought it from and they offered him less than the Audi dealer.

Default I've got 13,000 miles and every option except Nav. They said they called dealerships up north and

the most I could ever get for the car would be $35k.

He said if I sold it myself, I might get $39,000, but its unlikely.

I feel pretty bad about throwing away $12k in 4 months. I think this will be the last car I buy in a long long time.

Default At 36K they got lots a wiggle room. I figure they want the buyer to feel like a bedoiune...

haggeler when he leaves. I'm suprised by the M3
scenario though. Odd.

Trade-in is such a scam. You' know they'd probably turn and list it for $10k more too!

Default The car can sell for 40k

They are just trying to take you for a ride. Why are you trading in so soon.
