I was cruising on the freeway today at like 75-80 and my car was at.....
approx. 3000rpm. It stared to fluctuate from 3000 to 2500rpm with the throttle in the same postion. My car would coast then speed up when it revved higher and coast when it dropped in rpms. What they hell could this be? It has always had some bad RPM fluctuations at idle, but now this. Hell this could be dangerous if it did this at the wrong time.

Does it happen when cruise control is on?
Mine has a similar issue but not nearly as bad. Doesn't happen when the cruise is on though. DBW issue? Not really sure but never bad enough to make me want to get it checked.
