Im starting to think that the b6 RS4 will never come out due to the new B7..
I'm thinking Audi will just skip the B6 RS4, and go straight to the B7 RS4. Audi is getting rid of the S line and just making the RS line the standard.. correct? Seems too late now to release an rs4. am i wrong?

ive been thinking the same thing and it also lead me to believe.....
B7S4 will be the B7RS4 w/ FSI V8. Just a thought but I think im starting to think should they do away with S that would be were to do it. however they are already talking about newer S's coming out in other lines (6 & 8) which leads me to think they will keep the S trim around.

in CAR magazine they were saying that Audi will start
releasing the "S" models at the same time (or very close) to a new model launch instead of very late in the product life like it is right now. They also say that the new RS4 (march) and S4 is coming in 2005. S4 avant coming in the fall. Take it as an estimate from a magazine, but probably likely given the credibility of CAR.
