Default Just ordered new rotors..

Front and rears from www.frozenrotors.com. Lots of good information on AW about these, and everyone seemed favorable. Plus they are less expensive than ECS.

I got them slotted, and I will use these with Carbotech XP8's for track days, and then stock pads for street.

BTW: There is a good article in the latest grassroots motorsports mag. I can't find it online. It discusses proper bedding, brake fade, warping, etc. It's a good read if you catch it at the newstand.

Pics/Writeup when I get em.

Frozenrotors.com

Default I'm considering going the same route.

Just out of curiousity why didn't you go with the XP10's?
Where did you end up getting them from and how much was everything?

Default XP10 is a track pad, and shouldn't really be used on the street. Recommended for use with R tires..

Wes/Machtig is the resident expert, though.

Default got the..

rotors from Frozen Rotors (www.frozenrotors.com), and the pads from carbotech directly (http://www.carbotecheng.com/main.htm)

Rotors ~650
Pads ~250

I went with xp8 based on my usage (< 10 track days/year) and after talking to the guys over at Carbotech for some time on the phone.

Default Dont think so

Since they are stock rotors, that are then slotted, and then cryo'd, I don't think there is really any weight savings.
