If they don't float laterally, then they'd be compatible with our calipers I think.

Default Well, look at the centering lip on the ECS hat.

When that hat expands (and it will...a lot), the lip will expand into the cast iron rotor. That will surely put an end to any float that may have once existed.

You're missing the point. Floating rotors + floating calipers = a mess.

Default I don't want to excacerbate the diiference of opinion..but most big brake kits, Brembo as ...

an example utilize this principle.
