latest opinion on RS4 rep wheels...which to buy...
#11
I am going to through the same thing and am prob waiting till spring/summer but....
even though the stats are a good price... the velocity is a dead on replica. the flar on the wheel is much better and adds to the look that the rs4 wheel gives. so paying the extra $ seems worth it to me...

owned all 3 and have to admit that ...
Strat is my fav. Their (bright silver) paint finish and wheel integrity is rock solid. The 8.5 width wheels are a plus and the weight (in at a decent 27ish pounds)isnt bad considering. Hartmann is my 2nd fav, they are a tad lighter (V2 is 1 lb less)in weight but, the finish is very soft and their silver color is too dark - IMO. Velocity is the heaviest of the bunch (according to my scale) and the finish is super soft. However, (big however) they have the best choices of finishes. I'll be parting with my reps you see below pretty soon at a very decent price if you're interested. Strat had a crazy deal not to long ago, dont be afraid to get em. Its top notch (no i wasnt paid or given anything free to say that)Hope I helped....

didn't you have the old velocity reps... My opinion down below is also an unbiased one but I haven't
owned a pair so I don't know. But Velocity had an older pair of reps that are completely different from the current ones, they were much more flat like the hartmanns, no flare!(office space)lol.

thanks!
tire size 235/35/19 kdw, wheels 19x8 et42 (4mm spacer in rr), suspension is the H&R spring upgrade. I also have some negative camber on the alignment which makes it look a bit lower

I'm happy with my VM 18x8.5 V2 reps
The finish does seem a lil soft, but overall I can't complain. Great look, great price!
I have yet to drive over any crazy bumps and potholes yet... but from what I've seen around here, nobody really has any issues so far with them bending/cracking... unless it's one of those bumps/holes that would mess up any rim.
Here is a semi blurry pic... guess the digicam picked the ground to focus on instead of the car... haha!
