Default This Message board's Layout Sucks

I'm sure all of you have seen and been on other messageboards. Having said that, is it just me or is this poorly set up to navigate around and is there any indication that this forum's layout will be updated?

This current format is the same ones people used to use when the internet first became popular.

Just an observation... any comments?

Default People will say this is the greatest. It's efficient in the fact that there isn't "extra" info..

but I still find it pretty crappy.

Default We get these posts on occasion.

Most everyone who's been here a long time loves this set up. I personally can't stand the set up of other forums.

There are apparently options on the Preferences menu that allow users to tailor the functionality to be more like that of the "other" forums. I've never used them myself, but you might want to check them out.

Default I totally disagree. I love the layout of AW, especially compared to other car

sites out there. I can't think of another that I like better. And this remark really belongs in the feedback forum, if anywhere...

Default The biggest problem with this board's layout is that...

the most recent post doesn't show up at the top. So if an older topic is popular, you have to scroll to the bottom or the next page to get it. If it's not for the fact that this is the biggest audi board out there and there're tons of knowledgable people here, I'd be using audizine

Default No Forum or Message Board is Perfect....

Three Graduate Software Engineering students at my school are doing a study to build what they are calling "The Knowledge Exchange" which is supposed to be a better way to share ideas and well Knowledge. So far they have re-designed the thing like 10 times, can't seem to find a design everyone likes. Moral of the story, no one will ever make anything that makes everyone else happy. It's a fact of life and the car conversations that go on, on this board are reinforcements of that idea. Oh BTW what the hell does that have to do with the B6 S4?

Default Everyone should set their preferences to automatically track threads you reply to...

It makes life much easier. You always know if anyone has replied to a post you're involved in. Problem solved.
