Default Milltek Catback Testing on B7 RS 4...

Here is a link to some testing underway on the B7 RS 4. The text says that the system will be as pictured. While the system as shown fits the OEM RS 4 valance, we will bring in systems with large oval tips as well. The early numbers show a 10hp gain.

Milltek Catback Development, B7 RS 4

Default Satan get behind me.

... You're mean, Pete. Until now, I have been laboring under the delusion that I wouldn't need to mod my RS4 after the guys at Q-GmbH get done with it.

I dunno about this Pete... 2.5% nominal gain is barely worth a look.

Default The numbers don't seem that bad to me...

15.whatever lb. ft. is nice too. Someone on RS6.com wanted to know if they'll do oval tips as well. I posted a topic on the thing on that forum since it was the first exhaust I'd heard about for this car and the thing sounds mean as hell as it is stock.

PS: Pete, did you get my e-mail (buymeajuice@aol.com)? I had a question about the Milltek exhaust for the Mitsubishi Evo IX.

http://www.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8214</a

Default Heh, you're getting one too? No fair...

If only I could afford that thing (not that I would pay that price for that car anyway, but for free I'd take one :^P). What's the deal with the new TT? I've seen the newer spyshots and all that, but hadn't you said that the thing was going to be its own ASF platform? Latest I've heard is a modified Golf V platform with steel and aluminum.

That thing should be a monster after you get the custom work done on it. What did you have in mind? Are you getting the black optics package or anything like that?

Default CF, you say "The RS4 is a car I'd love to own and drive if some random person bought one for me"....

lmao...I love it. If this "generous random person" appears with an RS4, give them my email address as I would like to become a candidate for their generosity too. ;-D

Default Haha...

Yeah I know, I'm not saying that the car is bad I just think its price is quite hefty especially for what you get. The worst part is even with this we don't get the steering wheel or seats from the Euro version. I guess you could say for even less money you could get a Corvette Z06 that performs much better, but that would be worse than saying that a Mitsubishi Evolution performs better and is less expensive than an A4 3.2 (only because the Evo is also a sedan, haha).
