Default My passenger side seat squeks

Just driving down the road, it makes a noise when I go over small bumps. Sounds kindof like a squeek, or just 2 peices of plastic rubbing together. I have not had a chance to really inspect it but was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and a fix.

Thanks

Default It might be your seatbelt rubbing against the center console. Try moving your seat and see if it...

goes away.

I had a squeak in my car too and this solved it.

Default It is your seatbelt latch housing rubbing against your SEAT.

There is a pad stuck to the console side of the seabelt latch housing so there's no squeaking there, but nothing between the housing and the leather of the seat. Put a sock over it to test it out and I bet the noise goes away

If it is leather to leather, dealer has a spray for it.

Default Quick fix, works all the time. Suggest you find lovely Blond, well equipped to add some weight...

To the seat and thus reduse the squeaking.

Default I had a similar problem with my A6. I put a piece of foam between the seat and the console

where it was not visible. Your squeek may be coming from another area?

Raise the headrest so it's not touching the leather on the seat back.
