Not too bad.
Interest rate: 4.68%. I'm coming up with a payment of $611.63 before taxes. Is that around what they're quoting? (I feel like I'm in an early morning math class, which I haven't been in 20 years!!)

Re: Not too bad.
Thanks for your response, antiSUV.
They're quoting me $623/mo. with taxes. I was hoping they would budge a bit on their price; they're asking $39,900. I offered $38K, and they said they couldn't discount the car any more. Not sure if this is B.S. or what, though.

the lease deal sounds pretty good based on the prices but...
they can definitely lower the price of that car!! I'd bet my car that they own that one for <$35k (ask me how I know)
for a comparison (price wise, not talking about your lease deal)... I'd sell my car for $41,500 and it has 9k miles w/ Nav, Conv pkg, Audio pkg, Bluetooth, Carbon fiber trim, TPMS & htd rear seats! oh, it's also an 07 and dealers around me offered low to mid $30k's to buy it.

Thanks, JamieO.
That's just the kind of input I was looking for. I'll offer $37.5K and see what happens.

you're welcome.. I'd be shocked if you couldn't get it for that...
26k miles isn't bad at all for the car but it is alot for an 07! I'm sure an Audi dealer didn't jump at the chance to pay top dollar for that car, with the discounts out there on new 07's they definitely paid short money for it.
good luck.
good luck.

Of course, Jamie's been trying to sell his S4 for months, too! ;-)
On a more serious note, I have heard of some leasing companies allowing you to put down multiple security deposits (as many as 6). BMW Credit is one of the best known.
This allows you to put zero down and reduce your monthly payments, with the deposits returned to you at the end of the lease. The net effect is similar to negotiating more money off the sales price.
I put your information into LeaseCompare.com's used car lease quote thing, and came up with $607 for a payment. So your dealer's numbers are pretty competitive.
Disclaimer: I've never leased, but I do get asked car questions all the time.
I really need a life, but it's a slow Friday at work!
