Have no idea what alcantra is but it looked like it had texture like cloth from the
pictures of the interior that I saw on line. What is alcantra and if it comes in a contrasting color to the leather it is definitely not for me as I am one of the 50 and over crowd and tend to gravitate toward subtle as opposed to striking or flashy. For me its leather only and if the interior is going to be two tone leather and alcantra then I might have to reconsider. Do you have any info on the availability of just leather.

Alcantara is a suede-like material.
From the original Audi press release, I do remember that all-leather will most definitely be the standard. Leather/alcantara seating will be optional, some in contrasting combos, and some in matching (I think I remember black leather/black Alcantara being mentioned).
Either way, you will be able to get all-leather. :-)

hey, I'm in the 25 and under crowd and I like solid colors 2.
I don't car much for two tone, ... what's even more disturbing to some folks, is I like wood as opposed to carbon fiber trimmer. That's get me some wood trimming, I don't care I love it .... mauahahahahah!!!!!!
