Default New Wheels

Good news abou APR! I'm still in Iraq and havn't driven my S4 in 6 months. I did this last year in Afghanistan too for 7 months. Only have about a month over here in Iraq. Can't wait to get home and just drive!

Quick question. I'm new to this wheel/lip thing. I'm purchasing some 19x8.5 iForged Seneka's with 1.5 lip up front and 2.5 lip in the rear. I'm considering a BBK, and I'm not sure what offset would be ideal. If I dont go BBK, what offset would look good? Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

Default First off, come home safe! Second...

I've always been against the staggered look on an awd car, but I've seen it done (i.e. B5 S4, C5 A6) I would say ET35 is recommended since you're looking at 8.5" wide wheels. Although, I've seen wheels up to ET30 that still fit w/o issues.

the offsets need to be different to keep the footprint the same. I just did a 1.5 and 3.5" lip

Default Honestly HRE, IForged & most of those similar wheel companies...

are not worth the extra money, IMO. I've had several of those types of custom wheels and I think back about how much extra care they needed. Just because they were expensive doesn't make them better. I know several custom wheel companies that when your driving in the rain, the wheel will hold water. What it does it get caught in the center of the rim and when you're driving in the rain it will vibrate like crazy. Just like you've thrown a wheel weight or something.

Click on this link that was just posted on the B5 S4 forums also!!!

Default they are light and forged and look pretty nice. Honestly, what I paid for my iforged I am

ahead of the game. They will be on in a few weeks!
