Default New year...New baby

Hi all! I've been lusting over the S4's for the longest time...just haven't wanted to stretch that far ever since owning an '02 BMW M3 and got burned by it. So I finally took the plunge two days after x-mas. I had been working up a deal at my local dealership (Hoffman Audi: East Hartford, CT) and got a sweet deal. A leftover '04 B6 S4 in Dolphin Grey w/everything except for the navi and multifucntion steering wheel. I traded in my '02 TT 225 coupe against it. I miss the TT and she was such a fun little car but just one dip into the throttle on my new S4 and it makes it all worth it!!!! Just wanted to say hello and welcome to all my fellow owners of such an amazing piece of art&machine.

Anyone in the central Connecticut region with a B6 S4 Sedan/Avant hit me up! There are like no Audi clubs in my state and it bums me out! We have great support for Ferrari & Porsche but come on?!?! Where are the Audi guys and gals??? Our cars kick *** in style without screaming it, one thing I love about Audis. Anyways, pics to come soon of the late TT and the new S4. Peace to all and happy belated holidays!

http://www.hoffmanauto.com</a

Default How sweet of a deal..?

I'm dropping the hammer today and I'm in western CT.
How sweet of a deal are we talking? can you give me your final numbers and the name of the specialist you dealt with?
That way I can give them a call and see if they are interested in doing it again.

Hey Nick C,

Well, the final price of the car was $45,500 just about. About 2 grand below dealer invoice because AOA is giving them dealer incentive cash back on the '04's to move them out. Original MSRP was like 52,170. It basically has everything except for navi and the multifunction steering wheel. It's also a manual which will effect price because even though tip is more...the $1700 gas guzzler tax on the manual makes it come out more. I was also trading in my '02 TT 225 coupe with 45K miles on her, she was mint. They gave me a deal on her too giving me $18,000 for the trade and then I put an additional $10K down. So total total capital cost reduction when all was said and done was like around 20 grand off of 45 left me with a loan for about 25. Audi is no longer doing the 4.9% though so they found a loan through another bank. In the end monthly payment is like $527/month. I dealt with Frank Daly at Hoffman Audi. He's not the greatest on car knowledge but he's a really great guy and he'll really work with you to get a great deal. I couldn't believe the deal I finally ended up getting. It was great! LEt me know how things go and good luck! If you get one I live out in the Farmington Valley we'll have to get some people together for meets!

Default and the winner is.....

New Country Audi in Greenwich, CT

I'm upside down by a few thousand on the 03' W8 that I'm trading in and I'm not putting much down as a down payment. So even after making some last minute phone calls to dealers as far away as NJ I'm going back to New Country. Frank out in Hartford offered me the same deal on an 04' but the savings was equal to the additional finance charge. Jack Daniels in NJ said they'll beat the $45.5k price in Hartford and will do it on a car with Mettalic paint and rear sunshades. but all of these guys are talking interest rates of 4.9% and above on the 04'

If I had the cash chillin at the bank I would have flat out gone with either Hartford or Jack Daniels in NJ.
New Country is allowing me to walk away with 1.9% @ $49k
I'm picking her up this afternoon.
05' red, manual

this is going to be so cool.....
