Two notes: U.S. will not get the same Wagon and Convertible options as....
....Europe, and probably the rest of the world. But then, we expected that.
Meaning: My S4 replacement definitely won't be sold here by AoA.
Second, the RS6 was not the first RS model sold in the U.S. That was the RS2, finished-out by Porsche, before there was a Quattro GmbH.
They make the sales for BMW and Mercedes easier every year.
