Parking Lights not as described in manual
According to the manual if you turn the signal stalk to left or right the corresponding lights will light. This also shows a picture of the "P" on the stalk.
My car doesn't have the "P" but if the stalk is left in either "on" position with the key out the warning tone is on. Didn't check to see if the lights were on though. Will tomorrow.
Anybody know about this?

The tone goes off when you shut the door.
I don't have the P but it does work.
Try it. i.e. leave indicator on, turn off car, get out, shut door and walk around to the front.
The only difference I've heard of is that mine lights up one side or the other depending on whether I lesve the left or right signal on. I've heard that some cars (possibly the latest) light up both sides regardless of whether left or right is selected.
