Photos from Thunderhill track day

FYI, Here is a photo from my track day at Thunderhill. I was only passed by the race prepped EVO and at Porsche GT3. If you get a chance to do this you should sign up for a day with the Audi Club or a group like www.trackmasters-racing.com.

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/92222/t-hill_turn_12-13_-4_evo_and_sti.jpg</a

Good Stuff! I'll be there at 7:00am tomorrow!
With Nor Cal Racing CLub (www.NCRACING.org). They also have some fun events. I've heard good stuff about Track Masters as well. I'd like to compare track time, traffic and cost... but right now, I need to prep the car!

Track Performance
Hey guys. So what are the best / favorite track mods you guys have done?? Obviously, I don't want to void the warranty if I can help it....
I took my wife's '05 S4 to the BMWCCA Road America driving school last month and was very impressed with the stock performance!! Had a ball. The car is a pig in the corners though, and needs some help...
Can any of you guys recommend a reasonably priced solution to the handling / cornering issues these cars have?? Thicker sways?? Polyeurethane bushings?? ( Who makes, where to buy, DIY assessment, & how much $$$. )
Besides the handling the rest of the car needs nothing for now. I was very pleased with her, although some of my friends in their BMW's were less than thrilled I brought it along this time.... :-)
Thanks for any help you can lend,
Scott

Re: Track Performance
Currently my car is stock. I wanted to see how it did on the track before I did any mods. My first purchase will be another set of lighweight wheels (SSR Comps) and some racing tires (Kumho or Michelins). As you found out, the car can use some help in the corners. KMarshall just did some mods to his car and he is running it today at Thunderhill. It'll be interesting to see his report on how the mods helped him.
I understand what you mean about pissing off the BMW owners. I was passing a lot of cars as well (Boxsters, M Coupes, STIs, Mustangs).
Jim.
