Picking up my new (pre-owned) B7 S4 Avant Saturday!
Hey guys, I am picking up my new (pre-owned) B7 S4 Avant on Saturday. Just joined the forum after spending many years in the BMW online world. Just wanted to introduce my self and tell you that this site is great!
My new ride is a silver on ebony 2006 with just 7,000 miles on it, manual, premium pack, cold weather pack, bose sound, nav, carbon trim, Sirius and TPMS. Pre-owed avants were hard to come by so I had to settle for no parking sensors - not a big deal.
Needless to say I am very excited! Sold my e46 M3 to get something I can drive all year here in Vermont.
Already itchin' to customize! RS4 Grill, RS4 Pedals & Dead Pedal, Hoen Xenon Match Fog Bulbs and Rubber mats are already on the way! My list of mods grows every time I cruise the forum.
I need to figure out some real winter tire options for the stock 18's ASAP. Not sure Hakkapolitas will fit. I am going to 19" RS4 reps in the spring so I don't want to buy a complete winter package. If you have ideas let me know.

Congrats on the Avant !!! Vermont = Dunlop Winter Sport M3 for teh winter...

What did you pay?
If you don't mind saying, of course. I have been watching the few of these that are offered and the dealers all seem to want almost new MSRP even though all sources say the resale value of S4s drop like rocks.

We will require the obligatory pictures.
The S4 is really a great all weather all season car. With dedicated winter tires, you will be pretty much unstoppable except for the other cars that are blocking the roads because they can't go in the snow
