Pulling the trigger on 05.5 S4 for $43k?
After lurking here for the last 2.5 years, I'm finally ready to step up to the plate and buy. I'm considering a Dolphin Gray 05.5 S4 tip, fully loaded with NAV/XM/Bose/CF trim and everything except tire pressure monitoring. It has ~5000 miles on it and is CPO. The dealer initially quoted $47.7k, and we're now at $43k. Is this too much to pay for a 2 year old car?
It has all the features I really want except for Bluetooth, and based on what I've been reading, I can get that added after the fact. I'm not worried about getting the very best deal ever, but I just want to make sure I'm in the ballpark in terms of pricing with this deal. Is this a good deal?
Any thoughts?
BTW, this is great forum, and it has been critical to my education on S4's and my ultimate decision to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks to all the folks who share info here!

Do it!
I did the same for essentially the same car (see below) for $42500 with 17K miles CPO 3 months ago. Compare to new, including $1400 gas guzzler tax you'd have to pay, and you're saving at least $15K vs. new. Plus you got a lot less miles than mine.
I felt I got a great deal because all the 05.5's and newer were going for at least $47K when I was in the market (before the o7's came out.)
Plus, you can always add the BT later aftermarket (as I may do soon...)
Good luck!

Trade value on mine is around 35-39. 43 is fair from a dealer but the 06 has some nice additions.
I would try and get him down 1k or 2 only because its used. I got mine brand new for 47k. I got a manual but all the options. I bought mine about 1year ago.

Yea, 05.5's didn't come with bluetooth. And yes, you can add it after the fact..and you should. I really like it! I can't imagine trying to answer the phone while driving a manual now.
That does seem like a pretty good deal. The miles are very low, so it'll be hard to get it too much lower I believe. Dolphin Gray was my first choise as well, so I'm all for that

It's easier if the NAV is already installed so '04 I'm not sure
Search the forum for Bluetooth and navigation systems. Eventually you'll come across a link to a NAV discussion where you might be able to find a definitive answer to whether this can be done on an '04.
Thanks for all the responses so far - looks like I should go for it!
