Question regarding cost of new 2007 S4
Would you consider $47,800 a good price for a new 2007 S4 that has a sticker price of $56,700.That also includes the $1000 bonus discount from Audi USA for members of ACNA (Audi Club of North America). That is the deal I just made.

Congrats
Color, options? You will be one happy camper. I see you have an A8. Great car, but so different from S4 (preaching to the choir I am sure). Your entertainment and fun factor just went up exponentially.
Look forward to hearing about it as I am 3 months new to my S4 and wonder why I owned 4 prior quattros, but not an "S". Would have done it much sooner had I known how much fun it is.
I still think it is one of the best "sleeper" cars on the road.
Again, congratulations.

Re: Congrats
Thanks for your comments. The car is equipped as follows:
Exterior Light Silver. Interior black leather seats with silver alcantara inserts.Tiptronic,Audi DVD Navigation System
Audio Package
Bluetooth Phone Preparation
Carbon Fiber Belt Line Trim
Premium Package
Rear Acoustic Parking
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
This is my 3rd S4. Traded in my 2004 Saturday. I am making them remove the summer tires for high performance all-season tires so I do not have to switch to snow tires in the Fall.

wow, that is an awesome deal...
i couldn't get my dealer to budge below $52k for an '07 S4 stickered at $54k - which is why I'm still in an A4..
Do you have connections? Where did you purchase? (if you don't mind me asking, that is)

I would assume he got that deal (which is great) because the '08's are coming in now..
and they want/need to move all remaining '07's.
When I bought my '04 new it was in October of '04 and I got just under $10k off of the sticker.

I am a good negotiator
First I research which dealers have the car I am interested in. Then I call and inform them what price I am willing to pay. I also know that this is the time of year they are trying to move this model years vehicles to prepare for the next years model. Usually if we are off a couple of bucks I will go to the dealer and further discuss my options. This particular vehicle that I just purchased which I am picking up tomorrow, I originally offered $48,000 for a sticker of $56,700. They told me they would move it for $49,300. When I got there the price we agreed upon was $48,800. I then realized I received an e-mail from Audi Usa for a $1000 bonus for a 2007 S4 for members of ACNA ( Audi Club of North America ). That is how I made the deal for $47,800.I also made them exchange the tires for Ultra High Performance all season tires. This way I do not need to change to snow tires in the Fall.
