Default Radar Detector Question
I got a radar detector that uses suction cups to attach to the windshield. The owners manual warns that the suction cups can do damage to windshields that have a "soft anti-lacerative coating" on the inside surface of the windshield . Can anyone tell me if the S4 has this coating on the inside of the windshield?
Is anyone using suction cups on the windshield? Do you notice any damage?

I have 02 and have suction cups on for almost 2 years. No problems that I can see.
