Basically, Audi gave me the option to lease another car, and they would soak up my remaining payments. Why not, only catch is that it has to be done before December ends. So I figured it wouldn't be that hard to find a Nogaro on Black/Blue. Wrong. Ok Nogaro on Black, next best IMHO. Great they found one, the other dealership got together a proposal for a trade. At the last minute, the other dealership didn't need/want the car my dealership was going to trade them. So they reneged the trade. Ok (insert one week delay to find another) They found another dealership with a Nogaro on Black somewhere in Connecticut. One week goes by with daily calls to my dealership because it was supposed to be here by Friday, the 12th. "Well a guy went up there this afternoon to find out what the story on that car is." Then a call back saying, "Well it turns out that car has been off their lot for 3 weeks, they marked the wrong car as being sold." I now am forced to settle with the more mainstream colors, either Black, Silver or possibly red (if they have one on the lot) I plan to take one of these cars off the lot, for what the dealership paid for them, aka they aren't selling me a car for much over Invoice.

So I pose the question, why in this era of information technology, telephones, computers, and the internet among others, are some dealerships/businesses unable to know what they have in their inventory. And when did business practices slip to such unacceptable levels???

I saw a Nogaro sedan at Smithtown, NY (Long Island) on Monday, no idea on options tho

They list cars on their site that aren't even there. So when you go to look at them, they tell you they won't be there until the next week, etc. Bogus.
