rear door speakers dont work...
I tried the search feature with no luck.
My little brother picked up his second Audi, an 04 S4 with all the goodies
Hes really happy with it (me too) but the rear door speakers arent working. I havent looked at them yet but he took it to an audio shop and they couldnt even find the factory amp. Anyone know where it is?
I really would like to take a look at it.
Thanks All!

Hi Bryans12v,
Going by the date on your post you may already know by now that the amp is above the rear wheel arch on the driver's side. To access it you have to remove the rubber seal around the boot then the plastic cover that goes over the boot lock. Next, remove the plastic pin & stud from underneath the parcel shelf (RHS)& also unscrew the plastic retaining button from the back seat (saloon with fixed back seat) which will allow you to prise off the 3 (or 4) sprung clips holding the RHS boot lining panel. Watch for the metal lug at the upper right side of this panel - the panel slides out of it. Mounted on black plate is the amp.
I have removed my amp as my rear speakers don't work either. I've opened the amp & with a quick inspection, nothing looks burned out. My next check is the speakers the the continuity/insulation of the wiring loom from the amp to the Concert II head unit. If that's ok then, if anyone is brave/daft enough to lend me one, I'll fit their head unit to rule that out.
Let me know if you get anywhere. Good luck
