Rear facing child seats?
Could someone with experience with fitting a rear facing child seat (either center or passenger side) in the back seat of a B7 or B8 S4 comment on the ease of use?
Yes. . . I've searched the forum and found nothing. Thanks.

I have a 2008 Avant 6 speed with alcantara and leather seats.
Very few child seat will fit in the Avant rear facing without taking up all of the room.
The one that we got was recommended by our car seat lady. It's Sunshine Kids, and it is one of the narrowest child seat.
It is very easy to install. Just run the center passenger seat belt through the bottom of the seat, pull the seatbelt back (it will click) until it is very tight, and there you go.
I can fit non tubby friends and family to the left and right of the car seat with no problems.

I've since upgraded to a Britax Roundabout (forward-facing; installed in the middle seat), and it fits fine. Now my wife can comfortably sit up front. The only drawback with installing it in the middle is that you have to sit in the back in order to buckle your child into the seat. It can be difficult because there's not a lot of legroom in the sedan. It is for this reason that I'm considering letting go of my S4 for a Q5 (I know, you guys must think I'm nuts). I'm still on the fence though. I'm waiting to see if Audi will bring the TDI version of the Q5 in the US. If they do, then maybe, just maybe, I'll get the Q5.
