? regarding storing summer tires for winter
I am about to switch my tires soon for snows and was wondering if storing the tires in plastic bags for the next 5 months is ok. The bags are similar to the ones that dry cleaners use.

It's rubber. Pretty durable ;-)
The only time you have to worry about tire "storage" is when you are storing a vehicle, not moving it for long periods of time, and the tires develop a flat spot.
You don't plan on leaving the tires outside in extremely cold temps are you? Then in that case, I wouldn't know if the rubber could get damaged. Still doubt it though.

I hang mine on the wall
It keeps them off the floor, which is key to garage organization. I use the griots garage wall mount hangers. the long ones hold two wheel tire assemblies each.
Most cool and helps big time in keeping the garage neat.
If I did this right, there should be a link below<ul><li><a href="http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_3000&L2=L2_3010&SKU=9230 0">http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_3000&L2=L2_3010&SKU=9230 0</a</li></ul>
