Default Replacement Brake Pad help. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement pad with wears sensors.

What is anyone else using? I was looking at the Hawk HPS, but they are out of stock everywhere. I looked at Carbotech Bobcats, but they do not have the electronic sensors, just cut-outs, and the dealership does not sell the sensors separately. Any recommendations welcome. I drive strictly street (with an edge, as Edie Man says). Thanks

Default You don't really need the sensors, just look in at the pads when checking air pressure or washing

or rotating tires. Which you should have plenty of time for multiple inspections through out the life of the pad.

HPS pads are available right now multiple places. Hawk pads will need to be modified unless you are buying them from ECS (See link in sig)

Wear sensors are overrated.

Default And...

The sensor is only on one pad. I inspect mine regularly just because the pad without a sensor could wear abnormally.

Default You don't need sensors. It takes 10 seconds to short the sensor wire so you don't get a warning.

If you limit your selection to pads with sensors, you are taking great pads out of the equation.

The HPS pads are backordered everywhere I've called. Do you have a lead? Great pad mod info, thanks.
