Default RS4 being hammered on (video)...

For those who don't know German, it says the engine is burning 0.5 quarts of oil per 620 miles.<ul><li><a href="http://rapidshare.de/files/12605917/rs4.wmv.html">Click and follow instructions to download.</a></li></ul>

Default Well, that's not a fair comparison. My car isn't stock. I would say the RS4 is faster in the

corners, but slower on the straights.

Default I wish I had it on video. In straightline speed, the RS4 seems

somewhere between a Stage II+ and a Stage III- B5 S4.

I have been saying all along that it will clock 12.9-13.1 @ 106-108 MPH in the US magazines when it gets tested.

I still stand by those numbers.

I saw many B5 RS4's and B7 RS4's on the track at the same time. You could see that stock for stock, the B7 was certainly better. Some of the modified B5 cars were faster in most respects, some were not.

I look forward to seeing what the aftermarket holds in store for the B7.

Strange site. They have "exact" numbers for cars that aren't even out yet. I'm not sure about that

Default Ahh, just read the homepage. Those are "theoretical" computer generated test numbers.

My not-so-expert opinion would state they are slightly too fast.

German mags got about 4.8 0-60 times.<ul><li><a href="http://www.letstorquebhp.com/default.asp">Click.</a></li></ul>
