SOLO saves the day.
Coming to work this morning, my trusty cordless Solo goes nuts with Radar warning. I was doing 50 MPH in a 40 MPH zone, slowed down since I had plenty of warning. The cop was very disappointed and looked disgusted, red car and all that ...
Very impressive performance for the SOLO.

I tried V1 and sent it back after 30 days. It was more expensive, had an odd shape and the
directional warnings were useless. As I said before when the detector goes off, who cares if the cop is behind, right or left of you, you slow down.
The advantages are: no cord to mess with, nice package, 2 AA batteries last 6-8 weeks.
I know there are a lot of V1 fans here, so no offense intended to V1 lovers. BTW, Mike Valenine's triple chin does not bother me at all.

I tried the Solo and returned it the next day. did not like the LCD display.
at night it was ok but during the day it was too hard to read the display due to the glare. Had the 8500 and now have the V1 w/POP and that is far better then any radar/laser dectector that I have ever had.
