Drove the '01 S4 onto the lot and drove away with a new black/black '05 Avant today. I'm not nearly as car-techie as you guys seem to be, but I like driving it.

Got the Sirius and must say I like that too. I do wish the stereo was better overall - just sort of advanced-mediocre to my ears - goes to crap at any serious volume (18 seems to be crossover point). For that kind of money it would be nice to have killer sound. And would it kill them to put an input jack for ipods in? Another $1 cost to them vs a couple hundred plus lots of hassle for me....

Got to highway about 50 miles today and throw it into some nice back-country roads too. More of that to come for the next 36 months.

I just got a FM transmitter/cradle for the iPod that plugs right into the power slot in the console. Works great for me. Put it on a channel that's not used (FM) and the sound comes in pretty damn well. Just make sure that your ripping at 160 or so and you should be ok, but I'd recommend 192 for some really good sound.
