Default What do you think of the new S4?

I think it looks excellent, much better than a standard A4 (as they always do), the LED taillights really make it look complete in my opinion. Silver looks good on it but I wonder if something like sprint blue or black would look even better. It will be interesting to see if they offer the stainless steel inlays that are available in the S5. They look really interesting from what I have seen. It should be a great car to drive as well, I think that if I can get one I would choose the 6 speed manual, the S tronic would be good, but I think the manual will be much more fun, what do you all think, manual or S tronic?

Default Had a b8 A4 next to me on the Tappan Zee Bridge a month ago...

and had to do a double-take...looks like a morphed BMW/G35 from the side. I was not drawn to it as I was to the b6/b7. Maybe this will change "up close and personal".

Default Nice Bangle design.

Or at least an attempt to copy one. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't like it

Default Without a U.S. spec Avant...

Without a U.S. spec manual transmission Avant, it's pointless.

Not to mention that those LEDs Audi has become fond of are really just so much pimpery. The b7 S4 coupe body pictured? Yeah, well okay, whatever.

Fortunately I was able to get my S4 when Audi, and maybe just as much so Audi America, was still able to get things right.

Default Saw a B8 A4 up close and personal at Infineon and it just looked pedestrian. Nice but a bit dull...

I'm sure over time I'll change my opinion but it definitely didn't grab me. I found myself trying to like it more than just liking it.

The interior looks nice though.
