What is the factory MT oil weight?
I am looking to replace the tranny fluid with Redline (either MT-90 or MTL). MT-90 is 75w90 and MTL is about 70w85 (a little lighter). I need to know what the factory weight is so I can get close to that. Local climate is also a factor, but it would be helpful to know the factory weight so I can make a proper decision.

Audi does not list tranny oil weight in manual. That is not a frequent maintenance item.
Or, at least it is not supposed to be.
Most people appear to use 75w90 as a replacement, but I haven't seen anything definitive re: what exactly is the weight of the factory stuff.
