Default Where can I buy an 2005 shark fin for my 2004?

I really like the looks of the new fin and would like to replace the bulbous hideous fin on my car. My audi dealer, shocker, was clueless about it. Where can I get one? Where could I get it painted Imola?

Default I think that the dealer would be the only one that would have that part at this point? are you sure

it will retro fit?

Default

I didn't think so because of the digital on-star. ???

Default When I looked at them side by side at the dealer, the base didn't look the same to me. . .

and you are probably right, the mechanism may not even be the same which I guess would only matter if you had on-star. . .

I am more interested in shark fin removal than a new dolphin style fin that is just as ugly IMO. Seems to me that the dealership would be the only ones that would know if they retro fit at this point, but who knows.

Default It's not. That's why the old/new fins are not interchangable

This has been discussed previously on the forum. Some like the old, others the new - but changing from one to the other is apparently a major undertaking since the cutouts differ.

Worth looking into, but not sure it's worth doing. Easy for me to say, I've got an '05 with the new fin.
