Default Will I be able to sell my s4 for 30K? (more)

It is in great shape. 2004, white, 6m, premium, alcantera and is with 25K miles. warranty for another 13 months.

My lease buyout is 30K and change at the moment, which is what I would be asking for it. What do you guys think?

Default why would you only sell it for $30k?

I just sold my '04 w/ 17k miles on it for $38.4k a couple weeks ago.

I don't know why you would want to leave an additional $5-8k on the table for no reason. Also, in most states if you go to sell a lease vehicle you have to technically buy it from the lease company before you can sell it to someone else (at least on paper, you can't sell somebody something that you don't own) therefore you have to pay sales tax on the $30k buyout price raising your cost to $31,500 (based on the 5% sales tax we have in MA).

Default Wow, guys, you are one optimistic group....I just figured that the market is soft,

etc. It is a great car, best I have ever owned. I can't believe that you sold yours for 38K. You are my hero, man. I am in CA, and the tax is 8.25%.

Default the market is somewhat soft but it's not dead...

it seems that white is one of the most popular colors now... I had a lot of interest in mine right off the bat. My car was mint w/ a lot of mods (all included) so if your car is in really good condition w/ or w/out mods you should be able to get $35+ w/out much of a problem...

call Audi Financial to find out about the lease buyout because if you have to register it as your own first you'll be inot the car for $32,475 before you can sell it!

There is equity in this car in the specialty car market, as was the b5 S4 too...go for it.
