Windshield Crack - advice needed
Hello, this morning a stupid rock hit my windshield and put a small crack in it, the size of a dime. It is located on the passenger side of the windshield (smack in the middle of the passenger side), and I am not sure what to do about it.
Would Audi cover this under warranty? My brother recently got a crack in his Land Rover LR3 and they replaced it free of charge under warranty so I wasn't sure if Audi does the same.
If not, would insurance cover the replacement? I've seen messages here about if it is not on the driver side they won't replace it or something, so I wanted to get some insight on what exactly I would have/need to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Windshield Crack - advice needed
Also, i forgot to ask- is it better to replace the entire windshield or to repair it?
I was referred to this place by a colleague:

Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

You're not SOL.
It should be covered under you auto insurance comprehensive policy MINUS the DEDUCTABLE. BYW, don't have an Audi brand windshield put back in. They are prone to distortion and chip EXTREMELY easy. I would recommend a PPG windshield. It will be cheaper, chip less and have less distortion.
