Default No.

Those little turbos just don't hold up, and they are expensive to replace. In addition, the transmission can't take the additional load placed on it by chip tuning, etc.

Default Yes. If I had found a low mileage 6sp Avant that was CPO'd...

I would have bought it in an instant. Hopefully the Stage III prices will be a lot lower in a few years, and maybe I will own a B5 again.

Default And that's my point.

You have to pay alot. For that price, there are better options. For what new turbos (4 sets) and new transmissions (3) cost, a Porsche is much more reliable and it will eat a B5S4's lunch at the track. For example, at Willow Springs in particular, on the big track, the Porsches were just running away from me (and I was making ~320hp at the time - MTM Stage 2, coilovers, big brakes, and a bunch of RS4 parts).
